Dan grew up in the communications world at Ogilvy with experiences on
DuPont and Johnson & Johnson in China. Shortly after he joined the
company, he joined a small group of sustainability pioneers and helped
create and build OgilvyEarth, Ogilvy's sustainability consulting and
marketing practice. Over the next three years, Dan helped grow
OgilvyEarth into a global practice with over twenty offices.
Dan believes that organizations are most effective when their social
values are built into their business strategies. He helped define
OgilvyEarth’s point of view around this belief and has brought this
approach to bear with The Mutual. Dan believes fiercely in The
Mutual’s vision to align the self-interests of businesses and people
as a means of change to create a better world.
Dan's purpose-driven approach extends beyond the office, including
helping to develop fund raising platforms with The American Cancer
Society during the 2008 NYC Marathon and consulting on food & wine
experiences for The James Beard Organization and local supper clubs in
New York City.
